What is the difference between Tungsten Carbide and Silicon Carbide and which do you recommend as a bearing material for your magnetic mixer?
Silicone Carbide (SiC) is harder than Tungsten Carbide (WC).
However, SiC is also more brittle than WC.
Our standard material for our mixers is WC. SiC is an option.
